Seattle’s Alaskan Way Viaduct now permanently closed

Seattle’s Alaskan Way Viaduct closed forever at 10 p.m. on January 11, 2019. The new State Route 99 tunnel under Seattle that will replace the viaduct is expected to open in early February. More info on Seattle’s Alaskan Way Viaduct now permanently closed
